Ordering/Shipping Information & Instructions
(Updated May 30, 2007. Please read carefully before you place an order!)

Please Note: As of May 14, 2007 USPS is again raising shipping rates. Our shipping rates have been adjusted to reflect this change. We still strive to offer you the lowest shipping rates possible. We ship USPS Priority on all orders.

Ordering Information:

Orders must be placed via shopping cart, using major credit card, instant cash or checking account via PayPal Secure Server. You DO NOT have to have a Paypal account in order to use this service! However if you want to get an account, you can sign up HERE. It is FREE to sign up!

If you do not wish to pay for your order online, you may also place your order via shopping cart online, then mail the order with money order (sorry no checks) for your order. PLEASE print and include a copy of your order with your payment so that it gets credited properly! We must receive your money order within 10 days of the date of your order, or it may substantially delay your order. If you do not send a copy of your order and we have to track it down, then it WILL cause a delay in the processing and shipping of your order.

Money orders should be made to Kandi Traxel; if not they will be returned and you will have to buy another one! Please do NOT make it to anything other than Kandi Traxel.

For orders paid by money order, shipping times start at the date we receive PAYMENT, NOT the date we received your order! If your payment doesnt arrive for a week then it will delay shipping by that week. Please do not expect your order to be shipped within the same time frame as it would if you were ordering and paying via credit card or PayPal. Please note also that PayPal E-checks can take 4-14 days to clear. Your order will NOT ship until payment clears.

Shipping Information:

We guarantee an excellent quality product, timely shipping, and replacement in the event of error or damage by the shipping carrier! If we fail in any of these 3 areas, you are entitled to product replacement or store credit.

Please be aware that we keep small quantities of product in stock to assure that you are receiving the freshest product possible from our roaster. Therefore if we run low on product, we will contact you if there will be a shipping delay. These delays are rare.

All orders ship in 3-7 Business Days (business days do not include weekends or holidays, therefore it could take up to 10 days) from the receipt & clearing of payment. If we run low on a product and it will take longer for shipping, you will be notified. If it is just one or two items out of an order of several items, you will have the option of waiting and having it shipped all together, or we can ship the items separately.

During busy holiday seasons, your order may take up to 10-12 business days to ship! Please be prepared for these longer shipping times during Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and other gift giving holidays!

We use USPS to ship! All orders are shipped via Priority Mail, and sometimes Parcel Post, or First Class if needed, depending on the size of the order. Shipping is QUOTED at the time of order and the quote will sometimes be higher than actual shipping. Actual shipping will be calculated and adjusted at the time your order ships if it is more. If the quoted price is a little less, we will take what you have paid. If there is a large difference we will invoice you for the difference. Please if you are paying via Money Order, wait on a final total from us before you mail your payment! If you over pay on shipping we will gladly send you a coupon for the difference on a future order!

PLEASE NOTE: Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska tends to cost more than shipping to the 48 continental states. You WILL be billed the difference once your order has been packed and is ready for shipping. The order will NOT ship until the balance is paid!

If you receive a damaged shipment, you will need to save all parts of the shipment, and you are encouraged to take a photograph of the damaged items.. DO NOT discard any of the broken/damaged items, the packaging, or the box! Once we receive the confirmation that your shipment was damaged, we will ship you out another order to replace the damaged items. We DO reserve the right to refuse reshipment until you have shipped damaged items back, OR until we have full confirmation that you DID indeed receive damaged items.

If you need to return an item for any reason, it MUST be returned UNOPENED in the original packaging! You are responsible for the return shipping charges, UNLESS you receive an item in OUR ERROR. We do not give refunds, we issue store credits only. If you receive the wrong product, we will send you instructions for returning the product. We will then send out a replacement product as soon as possible after we receive the returned product, or you may request a store credit for it. Nothing will be shipped until we have received the product back from you! In any case of returns, you have 10 days from the receipt of your order to initiate a return. After 10 days, we will not be responsible for ANY errors, including the shipping of incorrect products by us. After you initiate the return (contact us for instructions), you will then have 5 days from the day you receive your instructions, to actually ship the products. Any return shipments received that are postmarked longer than this 5 day maximum, will incur a 25% restocking fee. NO EXCEPTIONS! After 10 days the label will be cancelled and we will consider the matter closed. In order to provide you with the highest level of service possible, all returns need to be made as quickly as possible.

We cannot be responsible for orders that are left on the front porch, etc. and then disappear. If the USPS states that the order was delivered, and it is missing, then we cannot be held responsible for sending out a replacement. If you live in an area where this is likely then tell us AHEAD OF TIME and we will include a Signature Confirmation Request with your order for a small additional fee!

Coffee/Cocoa/Cookie/Etc. flavors are a matter of taste, and we cannot issue a store credit for something you just didnt like. We do guarantee replacement in the event that the product is of substandard quality. In this case, we REQUIRE that you send the original packaging back to us so that we have all of the information we need to contact our suppliers. If we test the other items in the same lot numbers and find them to be acceptable, we reserved the right to deny any replacement or store credit!

Shipping Table:






The shopping cart calculates an APPROXIMATE shipping cost. Actual shipping charges will be calculated at the time of shipping and you will receive an adjustment in the form of an invoice or refund if necessary. Insurance is included in all shipping quotes. For orders over $100, you will be charged $14.49 at checkout. Actual shipping may be more; you will be invoiced for the difference if necessary.

Please be aware that A Love of Coffee, packs all products carefully using clean recycled materials including packing peanuts we have received in our own shipments, and paper shreds. We believe in protecting our environment and keeping your costs low by using these reusable materials.

Secret Pal Orders:

A Love of Coffee is Secret Pal friendly! If you wish to place an order for your Secret Pal, then please use the recipient's name in the "Shipping" field during checkout and indicate in the "Comments" area that it is for that reason! We will keep your secret by sending a blank packing slip. And they can beg and plead with us and we won't tell them anything:o)
